家内の誕生日/Birthday of my wife

４月２４日（金曜）Ａｐｒ．２４
１１月２９日の結婚記念日と同じく忘れてはならない日がこの日だ。朝、楽天のグリーティングカードフォームを使ってメッセージを送った。しかし、家内は朝からパソコンを開く余裕はないので、プリントして渡してあげた。「・・・・学校の先生のお仕事本当にご苦労様です。自分のやりたいことの一つというか夢の実現という気持ちで取り組まれている事と思います。・・・」を指して文章が硬いと注文があったが、朝から思いがけない夫からのメッセージにとても喜んでくれたのは事実。昨夜も互いに帰宅は遅かったが、久しぶりにゆっくり語り合う事が出来た一夜となった。でも、ゴールデンウィークは別々に過ごす事になるのかなという不安も。まあ、それだけ教育への情熱があるというか、校長先生など周囲からの期待も大きいのかもしれない。夫としては、存分に自分の納得出来るところまでやって行く姿勢を応援するしかない。
I have two important days to remember. One is Nov.29th and the other is Apr.24th. Early this morning I sent a message through internet service a birhtday card to my wife. Generally she doesn't open her PC in the morning so I printed this one and showed it to her. It was a surprise for her. She thanked me with satisfaction. Butone thing she criticized about my following message. " You are busy for teaching children. I really respect your attitude for realizing your dream ...". It si not so easy to explain in English but according to her my japanese sentences are not so casual but a little bit formal. This evening we could talk a lot till the late at night unusually.Maybe she is enthusiastic for education. On the other hand the presure from principal could be too much strong, I feel. Anyway I have to support her as her husband.
